From early morning, at the exam sites, the weather was favorable, partly reducing pressure for candidates and parents on the first exam day. According to reporters' records, candidates were present at the exam sites early, fully prepared papers, test tools and maintained a fairly comfortable mentality before the exam.


At the To Hieu High School exam site, many parents brought their children early to encourage their spirits. Ms. Quang Thi Anh, Tong village, Chieng An ward, said that the family hopes their children will maintain a confident mentality and do well in the exam to pass the first wish.
The family brought the child early to avoid being rushed. I hope the child is calm, completes the exam well and meets the registered wishes" - Ms. Anh shared.


Throughout the exam session, police forces, youth union members and volunteers were on duty at the exam sites to support candidates.
Many support activities were implemented such as distributing drinking water, pens, guiding exam rooms, while ensuring security and order and traffic diversion.
The Son La Department of Education and Training said that the whole province organizes 44 exam sites with 817 exam rooms. According to the plan, in the afternoon of June 1, candidates will continue to take the Math exam. On June 2, candidates will take the English exam. Candidates registering for the Son La Specialized High School entrance exam will take additional specialized subjects according to their registered aspirations.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam is considered to be of great significance, marking the beginning of a new learning journey for thousands of secondary school students in the province.
