According to regulations, the condition to be directly admitted to all majors is to have an international Olympic medal in the fields of Math, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English, English; or win a national treble or higher in Math, Chemistry, Biology, English, French. For the Psychology major, in addition to the above achievements, candidates with the national third prize in History, Geography, and Literature will also be directly admitted.
Last year, candidates had to win second prize to be considered for the field of Medicine and Dentistry, respectively, 128 and 5 students. This year, the number of direct admissions to these two majors is 167 and 50 people.
In 2025, Hanoi Medical University will admit 1,910 students according to two methods: direct admission and consideration of high school graduation exam scores. Compared to last year, the school has considered the competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University and considered combining the test scores with the international language certificate.
With direct admission, the school reserves 40% of the quota for each major. If the candidate who wins the direct admission exam does not meet the quota, the remaining direct admission quota will be for the admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
If the number of direct admission applications exceeds the quota, the school will consider the following priority criteria: Award ceremony, English or French language certificate score, average score for 3 years of high school.
