On the evening of November 6, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City announced that all students in the area would have a school break on the morning of November 7, 2025 (Friday) to ensure safety against the impact of storm No. 13 (international name Kalmaegi).
Schools are required to inspect, reinforce facilities, brace classrooms, move equipment and records to higher ground, and coordinate with authorities and parents to closely monitor weather developments, not allowing students to move when it is dangerous.
After the weather is stable, the units will arrange make-up classes, ensuring the progress of the school year.
According to the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station, storm No. 13 is forecast to cause very heavy rain from November 6 to 8, strong winds of level 8 - 9, gusts of level 10 - 12, with the risk of flooding and landslides in many areas.
