High tides rose more than 4m in Ly Son on the evening of November 6, causing 500 houses to be flooded, and the authorities urgently responded.

On the evening of November 6, Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ly Son Special Zone (Quang Ngai), said that currently in the area, the wind level has decreased to level 6, gusting to level 7-8. However, the locality is facing rising sea levels, flooding many houses.

The high tide is about 4m high in Tay An Hai village, causing about 500 houses to be flooded. Some fences and glass doors of houses were broken, said Mr. Huy.
