Hue adjusts student gathering time due to storm No. 5

    HUE - The provincial Department of Education and Training has adjusted the student gathering schedule, postponing it by 3 days to ensure safety against the complicated developments of storm No. 5.

    On August 24, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City issued a document directing educational institutions to adjust the plan to concentrate students to respond to storm No. 5 (Kajiki).

    Accordingly, the time for students to gather for the new school year 2025 - 2026 was adjusted from August 25 to August 28. Educational institutions must notify students and parents to know and implement.

    The Department also requires schools to closely monitor the developments of storm No. 5, floods; deploy response work according to the "four on-site" motto, ensuring safety for students, teachers and facilities.

    After the storm, the units quickly cleaned up, preparing the best conditions for the new school year's gathering day.
