On June 20, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan inspected the construction progress of Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools in border communes A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4.
In A Luoi 3 commune, the project has a total investment of more than 178.4 billion VND, with a scale to serve 1,085 students, including 160 boarding students. To date, the project has reached about 62% of the construction volume, mobilizing about 340 workers per day.
Through inspection, the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee requested the Project Management Board for Investment, Construction and Urban Development to develop a detailed plan, determine the schedule by day and week; strive to complete and put the dormitory project into use before July 30, 2026. The investor and contractor must increase manpower, shifts, accelerate the progress of roofing, garden and technical infrastructure items, and at the same time ensure quality and labor safety.
In A Luoi 4 commune, the project has a total investment of more than 240.4 billion VND, serving 1,318 students, including 200 boarding students. Currently, the project has reached about 58% of the construction volume, with about 410 workers per day, including the support of officers and soldiers of the Hue City Military Command.
Chairman of Hue City People's Committee acknowledged the active support of the army and border guard forces during the construction process. At the same time, he requested the Project Management Board for Construction Investment Area 2 to continue mobilizing human resources, focusing on completing technical infrastructure, drainage system, internal roads, football fields and kitchen areas.
City leaders requested departments, branches, localities, investors and contractors to respond to the peak period of "40 days and nights of acceleration, reaching the finish line", determined to complete the two projects before July 30, 2026.
According to Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan, these are important projects in improving learning and living conditions for students in mountainous areas, ethnic minority areas and border areas.
