Connecting the future from the career counseling program

On the morning of April 12, at Nguyen Quoc Trinh High School, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi, the "Dialogue and career counseling in 2025" program organized by Tuoi Tre Thu Do Do Newspaper took place.

The program attracted more than 2,000 students from Nguyen Quoc Trinh, Ngoc Hoi, Dong My, Hoang Van Thu high schools, along with parents and teachers. This is an opportunity for students in suburban areas to directly approach education experts and representatives of leading universities.

Open the door to career

Speaking at the program, journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper - sincerely shared with the students: "We understand that, facing the threshold of choosing a career, everyone has concerns. But let's consider it a journey of discovery and self-training. Every question you ask today, every choice you consider carefully, is the first brick to build your own future".

Journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan also emphasized the change of Thanh Tri district, from a peaceful suburban area with traditional craft villages, which has now been developing strongly, becoming an indispensable part of the modern economic picture of the capital.

"The students and the generation sitting here will be the ones to contribute to creating that new look" - Mr. Tuan said.

The highlight of the program is the direct dialogue between students and experts from prestigious universities in Hanoi city. Not only introducing enrollment plan in 2025, experts also shared frankly about the changes in the admission regulations, the industries tended to develop in the future, as well as the necessary skills to integrate the modern labor market.

In addition to the on-stage consulting section, the admission consulting area is arranged into separate booths of universities and colleges, giving students the opportunity to access specific information about tuition fees, scholarships, training majors, learning environment, etc.

The hot industry with many job opportunities is always a top concern for students. A student asked: "In the context of the construction industry increasingly developing and creating many job opportunities, what skills and thinking do construction businesses currently need in new graduates?".

Responding to young people's questions, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thach, Deputy General Director of Viteccons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company shared that in a developing country, the construction and mechanical industry is the leading industry. To build infrastructure and transportation, the construction industry is the foundation for development.

"I hope that students, regardless of their school, must be suitable for their abilities and finances. They study very well and are assured that their teachers will teach them all the skills in the industry. When graduating, they will meet the requirements of the business" - Mr. Thach said.

Experts advising students on career guidance at the program shared about the Semiconductor industry, a hot industry at Dai Nam University, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Tam, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology of Semiconductor Technology, the semiconductor industry has become a highlight of Vietnam, Dai Nam also follows the country's development, innovation in semiconductor training.

Dai Nam cooperates with Taiwanese science and technology schools (China), the cradle of the Semiconductor industry, focusing on training both foreign languages to meet the requirements of domestic and foreign work.

Students studying in the signed program will be exempted from all tuition fees when studying in Taiwan (China) including living and studying. Here, they were arranged to intern at leading enterprises, having the opportunity to do practical work.

In particular, to bring learning and practical opportunities to students, Dai Nam University has signed with many semiconductor enterprises. The school commits to 100% of graduates having jobs.

Tran Thi Phuong Linh - a student at Dong My High School - excitedly shared after the program: "I am very impressed with the sharing of teachers from the university. Before, I had not clearly defined which major I should study, but after the consultation, I felt that I needed time to learn more about my interests, abilities and career opportunities.

Not only is a time event, the program "Dialogue, Career Advice in 2025" also shows the long -term commitment of the Capital Youth Newspaper in accompanying the Capital's youth in general and students in the suburban areas in particular. As a mouthpiece of the Youth Union, the newspaper constantly organizes depth activities, associated with the practical needs of young people.
