On the afternoon of June 10, more than 22,000 candidates in Khanh Hoa province came to the exam sites to complete procedures for the 2026 high school graduation exam.
Leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that the whole province has 22,029 candidates registered to take the 2026 high school graduation exam at 52 exam sites.
Among these, there are more than 18,340 high school students, more than 2,720 continuing education students and 959 independent candidates.
On the afternoon of June 10, candidates came to the exam site to listen to the regulations, check personal information and correct errors if any. This is an important step to ensure the rights of candidates before entering the official exam sessions.
Statistical reports from 52 exam sites show that 332 candidates have not come to complete procedures. The exam site recorded the highest number of absent candidates, with 19 cases, while one exam site achieved a rate of 100% of candidates present.
At the exam rooms, invigilators guided candidates on the time to be present at the exam site, items allowed to be brought into the exam room, regulations for essay and multiple-choice exams as well as important notes to avoid violating regulations.
According to the exam schedule, on the morning of June 11, candidates took the Literature exam with a duration of 120 minutes; in the afternoon, the Math exam lasted 90 minutes.
On June 12, candidates take the elective exam including two subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Informatics, Industrial Technology, Agricultural Technology and Foreign Languages. Each subject has a test time of 50 minutes.
This year, Literature continues to be tested in essay form, and the remaining subjects are tested in multiple-choice form. The exam questions are built according to the 2018 General Education Program with a unified set of questions nationwide.
To serve the exam, the Education sector arranged 949 exam rooms and mobilized 3,921 officials, teachers, and staff to participate in the organizational stages.
To ensure that the exam takes place seriously, objectively and in accordance with regulations, the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has organized professional training for more than 340 management officials and teachers who are heads of points, deputy heads of points and secretaries at 52 exam sites.
In addition, 128 management officials, specialists and teachers were trained in professional inspection of exam invigilation work, focusing on contents such as establishing exam service boards, handling arising situations, arranging facilities, and preserving exam papers and exam papers.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2026 high school graduation exam has 1,223,776 registered candidates nationwide, an increase of 61,642 candidates compared to the previous year. The grading work will be implemented from June 13 to 30 and the results are expected to be announced at 8:00 AM on July 1, 2026, about 12 days earlier than in 2025.
