Accordingly, 9th grade students at general schools in Thuan Nam, Ca Na, Phuoc Dinh, Phuoc Ha communes are allowed to participate in the entrance exam to Dang Chi Thanh Secondary and High School and Nguyen Van Linh Secondary and High School.
Notably, students of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School and Nguyen Tiem Secondary School (Phuoc Dinh commune) are given more choices when they can submit applications to Tran Hung Dao Secondary and High School along with high schools such as: An Phuoc, Nguyen Hue (Ninh Phuoc commune), Pham Van Dong (Phuoc Hau commune), Nguyen Trai (Phan Rang ward), Chu Van An and Thap Cham (Bao An ward).
In addition, students of Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary and Secondary School, Vo Van Kiet Secondary School (Thuan Nam commune) and students of Hoang Hoa Tham Primary and Secondary School, Phuoc Ha Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School (Phuoc Ha commune) can also register for supplementary admissions to An Phuoc and Nguyen Hue High Schools (Ninh Phuoc commune).
The adjustment of the enrollment zoning is built on the basis of the actual conditions of each locality, ensuring convenient travel, suitability for the school network and enrollment scale. At the same time, the open mechanism allows students to register for admission to neighboring schools if appropriate.
Previously, on March 12, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the high school 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2026 - 2027 school year with 25,115 students, equivalent to about 85% of secondary school graduates in the 2025 - 2026 school year.
A total of 579 classes will be distributed at high schools, inter-level schools, ethnic minority boarding schools, continuing education centers and vocational education institutions that teach the continuing education program at the high school level.
In which, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted enrolls 15 classes with 525 students at 2 campuses; ethnic minority boarding schools enroll 8 classes with 280 students.
For public schools (high school, middle school and high school), the total enrollment target is 18,765 students. Non-public schools, continuing education centers and vocational education institutions enroll 5,545 students.
Regarding the enrollment method, the province applies it flexibly according to each type. Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted organizes entrance exams for 4 subjects including Math, Literature, English and specialized subjects. Most non-specialized public high schools conduct entrance exams for 3 subjects: Math, Literature and English.
Some schools apply the form of admission consideration such as Lac Long Quan High School, Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary and High School, Khanh Son High School. Students studying French can be admitted to Nguyen Van Troi High School.
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026 - 2027 school year is expected to take place on two days, May 28 and 29, 2026, earlier than many previous years. Schools will complete admissions before June 25 and announce results for the whole province before June 30.
According to regulations, each student is allowed to register 1 aspiration for a specialized school and 2 aspirations for non-specialized public high schools according to the enrollment area.
