Installing cameras to strengthen management
In September 2026, the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Nha Trang Ward sent a document to the People's Committee of Nha Trang Ward regarding strengthening safety and digital transformation at public kindergartens.
Previously, people and parents raised the issue of installing cameras at public kindergartens.
In a document sent to Nha Trang Ward People's Committee, Ms. Pham Thi Chau Anh - Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs said that the installation of cameras at public kindergartens is currently not mandatory according to general regulations nationwide.
However, considering the actual needs, families and parents always want to ensure that their children have a healthy learning environment and develop well.
On the school side, the installation of cameras is also an important content, helping school leaders monitor and manage the activities of teachers and students in class.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Chau Anh, the installation of cameras also helps raise teachers' awareness in the teaching process, adjusting teachers' behavior in accordance with pedagogical standards.
Nha Trang Ward Culture and Social Affairs Department said that in the 2026-2027 school year, the unit will coordinate with Nha Trang Kindergarten to survey parents' opinions on the installation of cameras in preschool classrooms.
If high consensus is received, the Department of Culture and Social Affairs will have a document submitted to the Ward People's Committee to ask for instructions on the collection and spending of installation costs.
Digital software applications in management
Currently, Nha Trang Kindergarten (at the main school and branches) has been and is deploying URA PARENTS software. This is a common application for public kindergartens.
At the beginning of the school year, each parent is provided with a link and password to log in to the software.
Through URA PARENTS, parents can view school schedules, menus, medical records, tuition fees, development charts and children's good behavior books. In addition, parents can ask for leave for their children through the software.
Teachers use URA to check in daily, take pictures of children when they come to class and leave.
The system updates information about children's eating, studying, and sleeping activities at school, along with individual comments from teachers during the day.
According to the Department of Culture and Society of Nha Trang ward, regarding the content of building a common application/platform for public kindergartens, Nha Trang Kindergarten at the main school and branches has implemented it.
The Department of Culture and Social Affairs assessed that the installation of cameras in classrooms and the use of URA PARENTS software at public kindergartens are important contents.
If invested synchronously, the above contents are expected to help parents feel more secure and confident when choosing to send their children to public kindergartens.
In the 2026-2027 school year, Nha Trang ward established Nha Trang Kindergarten on the basis of merging 13 schools. After arrangement, Nha Trang Kindergarten has 2,795 children. Despite its large scale, according to the principals, the operation of the new schools has not been much disrupted.
