On the morning of March 19, Lam Dong province organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in 3 border communes Tuy Duc, Thuan Hanh and Dak Wil.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and departments, branches, and localities attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

This time, the whole country has 148 boarding school projects implemented in 121 border communes in 17 provinces and cities.
The groundbreaking ceremony is a political - social and deeply humane event, showing the special concern of the Party and State for compatriots, soldiers, especially students in border areas, which are considered the fence of the Fatherland.

This is an activity aimed at ensuring fairness in access to education, narrowing regional disparities, improving social security and consolidating national defense and security in border areas.
Three inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in Tuy Duc, Thuan Hanh and Dak Wil communes are invested by the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 3 of Lam Dong.

Each school has a scale of 30 classrooms, serving about 1,050 students and teachers, with a total investment of more than 225.9 billion VND. According to the plan, the projects will be completed and put into use before August 30, 2027.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, said that boarding school projects not only serve learning needs but also contribute to improving people's knowledge and creating motivation for development in border areas.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units to focus on construction, ensure progress, quality, and safety; strengthen inspection and supervision, and prevent loss and waste.
Along with investing in facilities, localities need to focus on building a team of teachers and management staff to meet the requirements of education innovation.

Lam Dong always identifies the development of education and training, improving the quality of human resources as a key and long-term task. Investing in boarding schools in remote, isolated, and border areas clearly demonstrates the responsibility of the locality in implementing social security policies, narrowing the development gap between regions," Mr. Ho Van Muoi emphasized.
Currently, Lam Dong has 5 border communes including Tuy Duc, Quang Truc, Thuan An, Thuan Hanh and Dak Wil, with a total of 47 educational institutions.

Including 18 kindergartens, 15 primary schools, 8 secondary schools, 3 inter-level primary - secondary schools and 1 ethnic minority boarding secondary - high school.
Previously, on November 9, 2025, the province started construction of 2 inter-level boarding schools in Thuan An and Quang Truc communes with a total investment of more than 441.8 billion VND.
