Nghia Thuan Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project is invested on an area of over 30,000m2, with a scale of 25 classes/875 students. Total investment of nearly 220 billion VND.
In addition to the project in Nghia Thuan commune, this morning Tuyen Quang province also simultaneously started construction of boarding schools in: Lao Chai, Lung Cu, Thang Tin, Dong Van, Bach Dich, Thang Mo, Tung Vai, Sa Phin, Can Ty and Ban May.
Among the 11 projects invested in construction, there are 6 new construction projects and 5 expansion and upgrade projects. The total estimated investment is over 2,976 billion VND.
According to the construction plan, the schools are designed in an open, flexible, diverse direction, suitable for national culture, terrain, prioritizing green trees and preserving natural landscapes.
The total construction land area of each school is about 3 - 6ha, with a scale of 25 - 48 classes/school unit. All schools meet about 12,500 primary and secondary school students.
In which, the newly built Lao Chai Inter-level Boarding School for Primary and Secondary Schools has a scale of 29 classes/1,026 students, with an area of 41,000 m2.
The completion time is 2027 with an estimated cost of over 231.9 billion VND.
The Thang Tin Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project has a scale of 30 classes with about 1,000 students, an area of nearly 59,800 m2 according to the upgrade and expansion plan.
The total estimated investment is more than 264 billion VND, completed in 2027.
Thang Mo Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project has a scale of 31 classes/1,085 students; area of 47,000 m2. Completion time in 2027 with a total investment of over 268 billion VND.
Ms. Giang Thi My (Thang Mo commune) excitedly said: "Parents are very much looking forward to boarding school projects. When completed, highland students will have conditions to study, and the quality of education will be increasingly improved.
Paying attention to and building schools in border areas is very practical. With literacy, the young generation in villages can change their lives. Everyone is really happy, hoping the projects will be completed soon and put into operation.
Including 11 schools that were simultaneously started construction this morning, Tuyen Quang province has 17 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools invested in construction.
Previously, at the end of December 2025, 6 boarding school projects with a total investment of over 1,300 billion VND were simultaneously started in Tuyen Quang border communes.
