On the morning of March 19, in Khong Lao commune, Lai Chau province, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the inter-level boarding school for primary and secondary schools in border communes: Khong Lao, Sin Suoi Ho, Si Lo Lau, Pa U, Thu Lum, Mu Ca.
The groundbreaking ceremony was connected online and broadcast live to the central bridge point on Vietnam Television.
Up to now, agencies, units, and localities have actively coordinated to complete site clearance for 3/6 projects. The remaining projects continue to complete procedures, striving to hand over the site as soon as possible.
The projects are built on a scale of about 30 classrooms per school, serving about 1,000 students, with a total investment of 1,845 billion VND, of which the central budget capital needs is 1,743 billion VND, and local budget capital is 102 billion VND.
The project implementation time is in 2026. These are key projects, belonging to group B, designed modernly, synchronously, meeting level 2 infrastructure standards.
At the ceremony, representatives of central ministries and branches, Lai Chau province presented many meaningful gifts to communes, people, students in difficult circumstances and commune police forces.
Lai Chau province and Khong Lao commune also presented souvenirs of the Tinh Tau lute and Pieu scarf to leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, expressing respect and solidarity.
