On the afternoon of August 4, at the press conference of Lam Dong province, Mr. Luong Van Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province - said that the locality is developing a plan to arrange the network of public educational institutions in a streamlined direction, suitable to the reality of each locality.

According to forecasts, the whole province will reduce about 1,811 management officials and staff in the education sector, including 1,067 management officials and 744 staff.
After the overall plan is approved by competent authorities, the Department of Education and Training will coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones and educational institutions to develop specific teaching organization plans, ensuring transfer; and at the same time reorganize the operation of schools to take place synchronously, without interrupting teaching and learning.
Currently, Lam Dong province has more than 1,450 public preschool, general and continuing education institutions. The arrangement is carried out based on reviewing the scale of students, number of classes, facilities, travel distance and actual conditions of each locality.
For mountainous areas, remote and isolated areas, where transportation is difficult or the distance between educational institutions is large, the arrangement will be considered carefully to ensure that students get to school conveniently and no new difficulties arise.
For the number of officials and employees who are no longer arranged at units after arrangement, the Department of Education and Training and local authorities will carry out the arrangement and arrangement according to the guidance of the Provincial People's Committee and regulations of the Central Government.
