The closing ceremony and award ceremony of the writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and schools" in 2025 took place on December 5, in Hanoi.
Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest said that this year the Jury recognized many works with depth in their feelings and thinking, especially their diligence in researching to recreate very real and real details.

Each article is a different slice of school life. Some are the memories of a student in a mountainous area, some are the stories of a young teacher who has just graduated, some are recounting memories that seem small but turn into a big lesson about humanity in education. This diversity makes this year's contest more unique.
Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam shared that when re-reading each article, we see more clearly the mission of the journalism profession in the field of education: Not only reporting, not only reflecting, but also contributing to nurturing school culture, nurturing in society respect for teachers - those who create the future.
The contest will continue to be maintained annually with the spirit of becoming more professional, closer and more widespread. The Editorial Board will continue to expand the digital platform so that articles are not only on the newspaper page, but also told in audio and visual form, and conveyed to more readers. The memory of teachers must be revived, spread and become a bridge connecting generations of students... - Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam emphasized.

Mr. Pham Quynh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Education Publishing House, representing the Jury, said that this year, the number of entries increased sharply, the topics were richer and the depth of emotions was also more outstanding. The stories told from the perspective of students, parents, teachers or those who have long been away from school continue to create special attraction.

The judging work was carried out objectively based on the following criteria: Literary quality, emotional depth, authenticity and spreading value. The representative of the Jury said that selecting excellent works was not easy, many discussions lasted until late at night to seriously consider each entry.
A positive signal is that the number of high-quality articles has increased significantly. Many teachers shared that they were moved when reading the students' writings. Parents also find their childhood shadow in stories about their former teacher. That shows that the vitality of the contest does not lie in awards, but in the ability to create emotional connection and recall the good values of education.
Regarding the award structure, the organizing committee awarded 2 collective prizes; 9 Encouragement prizes; 6 Third prizes; 3 Second prizes; 2 First prizes; 4 Impressive prizes; 2 Outstanding Character prizes; 3 Creative prizes.
