According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police, in November 2025, the authorities detected and handled 3,130 cases of students violating traffic safety laws. The main violations include: not wearing a helmet when riding a motorbike, carrying more people than the prescribed number, driving a vehicle when underage, running a red light, using a phone while driving...
The list of violations was forwarded to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for coordination in rectifying and requesting schools and families to strengthen management and education, ensuring that students comply with traffic regulations right from the school environment.
In parallel with patrolling and punishing, Hanoi City Police also stepped up propaganda. Nearly 100 direct traffic safety propaganda sessions have been held in the past time, attracting more than 80,000 students, parents, staff and teachers to participate.

The activity of guiding safe motorbike driving skills is implemented according to Decree 151/2024/ND-CP and the instructions of the Traffic Police Department. After the training, local police coordinated with high schools and vocational training institutions to deploy training, equipping students with legal knowledge and vehicle control skills, contributing to reducing the risk of traffic accidents.
Ms. Luong Quynh Lan - Principal of Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted highly appreciated the program and said that the school will continue to closely coordinate with local police in traffic safety education.

Major Dang Quoc Hung - Duong Noi Ward Police said that at the course, students were instructed in legal knowledge about traffic safety and order; conditions for driving each type of vehicle; safe driving skills such as speed, traffic light signals, rules of avoiding - overtaking, changing direction, giving way to priority vehicles... In addition to the theory part, students are also allowed to practice driving motorbikes in simulation training for the A-class driving license test.
At the end of the course, students are tested and evaluated on the assessment platform; those who meet the requirements will be confirmed to be eligible to drive motorbikes according to regulations.
