On September 22, according to information from the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, the Hoa Ban Kindergarten project was approved for investment policy, assigned to the Lao Cai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board for management.
The project has a total investment of 33 billion VND from the provincial budget, implemented in the 2026-2028 period in Gia Phu commune.
According to the approved plan, 2 level 4 classroom buildings, one floor built from 2005 and 2007 will be demolished to build a new project.
During the construction period, 4 temporary classrooms are arranged in the yard of Phu Xuan village cultural house, ensuring that children's learning is not interrupted.
The key item of the project is to build a new 3-story classroom building block, with a total floor area of about 2,745m2, including 12 classrooms and subject rooms, functional rooms.
In addition, an existing block of 4 rooms has also been renovated. Among them, 3 rooms have been repaired to serve teaching and learning, and 1 room has been converted into an administrative - management room.
The project also invests in internal traffic roads, schoolyards, power supply, water supply, drainage and other auxiliary items.
The investment aims to overcome the shortage and degradation of classrooms and functional rooms at Hoa Ban Kindergarten; gradually complete facilities in a synchronous direction, meeting the requirements of caring for, nurturing and educating children.
The project is also expected to create more conditions for the school to maintain and improve the criteria for schools meeting national standards, in accordance with the development scale of the main school point until the school year 2030-2031.
