Blowing a new breeze for each lesson
No longer boring and monotonous, Ms. Pham Thu Thao's lessons are always bustling with laughter, excitement and initiative of students. This is the result of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and many other modern tools and methods applied by her.
Graduated from the top pedagogical school in the country, young teacher Pham Thu Thao decided to return to her hometown and work at Yit Primary School, Ea Knue commune, Dak Lak province.

The school is located in a socio-economic region with many difficulties and lacking facilities, especially, the majority of students of the school are children of local ethnic minorities.
With a love for youth and enthusiasm for the profession, Ms. Thao always tries to apply creative teaching methods, breathing new life into each of her lessons right from the first day at school.
"How to always keep innovation and creativity through each lesson requires great efforts from teachers. Because my subjects of teaching are primary school students, they are very bored and lose interest" - she expressed and added that graphic design is also a huge challenge.
She also applies station-based teaching methods, corner-based teaching methods... so that students can proactively explore their own knowledge.
In addition to focusing on capacity development, Ms. Thao prioritizes developing students' qualities.
"On important holidays like September 2, October 20, November 20, I always organize unique activities, creating space for children to express their emotions and feelings for their homeland, country, family, and loved ones" - she said.

Despite many difficulties in bringing a new breeze to the mountainous school, Ms. Thao shared that students are the motivation for her to not give up and try every day.
"Through each activity, each lesson, each video, each character created from AI... what I receive is the smile, passion, proactive learning and affection of students. That is the most precious gift!" - Ms. Thao said.
Students' smiles are the driving force for change
"Putting students in the center" is also the motto of Ms. Vu Thi Thu - Math teacher at Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School, Thanh Liet Ward, Hanoi. Ms. Thu is a pioneer in applying modern tools and equipment, as well as having innovative initiatives and teaching methods of the school.
In the Math department, Ms. Thu often uses interactive screens, not only presented with regular PowerPoint presentations but also illustrative videos, and draw visual images to increase visualiteness.
At the same time, Ms. Thu applied innovative methods such as constructive teaching, problem-solving teaching, tablecloth - piece-based teaching, small-scale collaborative teaching and using metaphors - intuitization to help students understand abstract concepts...

"During the application process, I implemented step by step: selecting appropriate content, designing intuitive lectures, integrating experiential activities, then evaluating students' feedback for adjustment.
I also focus on personalizing learning by assigning differentiated tasks according to levels" - she said.
To be able to proficiently use advanced teaching methods and means, Ms. Thu spent a lot of time self-discovery, attending professional training courses and learning from colleagues.
"Their smiles and progress are the motivation for me to change and continue to improve and improve teaching methods" - she expressed.
According to Ms. Thu, efforts to innovate and create in teaching have brought many positive results. Lessons become more lively and intuitive, helping students absorb knowledge and remember it longer. They are interested in participating in learning activities, proactively exchanging and discussing instead of being passive in listening. Students' learning outcomes have also improved significantly...

"Instead of machine learning, each lesson must ensure two factors: Students understand the lesson and students are happy to study. I try to create easy-to-understand, exciting lessons, thereby helping students feel that Math is close, logical and can be approached by all subjects" - Ms. Thu shared.
