The 2025 Tet holiday schedule for students in Kon Tum province lasts up to 17 days.

The Lunar New Year holiday schedule for 2025 is specified in the 2024-2025 school year schedule as prescribed by the People's Committees of provinces and cities.

The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday for students in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will last 13 days, starting from January 25, 2025 (December 26) to February 6, 2025 (January 9).

In Kon Tum province, the Lunar New Year holiday starts from January 24, 2025 (December 25, year of the Dragon) to February 7, 2025 (January 10, year of the Snake). If Saturday and Sunday are included, students in this province can have up to 17 days off. This is the locality with the longest Tet holiday to date.

Soc Trang province stipulates that holidays, New Year's Day, Lunar New Year; Holidays and Tet of Khmer ethnic people: Implement according to the general provisions of the 2019 Labor Code and annual guidance documents.

For Lunar New Year, students will have a break from January 27, 2025 to February 8, 2025. Including Sundays, students in this province will have 14 days off for Tet.

Some provinces such as Lam Dong, Lai Chau, Lang Son, and Ninh Binh announced that holidays and Tet are implemented according to the provisions of the 2019 Labor Code and annual guidance documents of competent authorities.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City announced the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule.

Accordingly, preschool, primary, secondary and high school students will have Tet holiday from January 25, 2025, the 26th day of the 12th lunar month, to February 2, 2025, the 5th day of the 1st lunar month.

Thus, including weekends before and after the scheduled time, students in Ho Chi Minh City have a total of 9 days off - 7 days less than previous years. This is the shortest Tet holiday period for students in Ho Chi Minh City ever.
