Currently, many universities in Ho Chi Minh City have announced the expected admission methods for 2025, in which the method of considering the results of the computer-based university entrance exam (V-SAT) is used by many schools.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University announced that it will organize 6 V-SAT exams. Round 1 took place on March 23, round 2 on April 20, round 3 on May 18, round 4 on June 1, round 5 on June 29 and round 6 on July 27.

The University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) said it will organize 5 computer-based university entrance exams in April and May 2025.

The University of Finance - Marketing said that in addition to the above plan, the school will consider organizing additional exams in July - August 2025 (after the high school graduation exam) to serve additional admission rounds. The school will have a notice before organizing to receive candidates' exam registration documents.
The exam includes 8 independent subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, English and Literature (c candidates can choose one or more subjects depending on their needs and abilities). The exam content is included in the current general education program at high school level.
The time for taking the exam for Math and Literature is 90 minutes/subject; the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, English each subject is 60 minutes.
Saigon University will organize 4 V-SAT test sessions, the exam time is in April and May 2025. Candidates register to take the exam on the electronic information portal and are allowed to register for multiple exams, each time with multiple subjects.

The results of the exam can help candidates apply for admission to majors not related to teacher training majors of Saigon University in 2025 or apply to some schools that use this method.
The exam fee is 130,000 VND/subject/test, for Literature alone, it is 150,000 VND/test.
In 2025, for the first time, Ho Chi Minh City Open University will organize the V-SAT exam with 4 rounds: Round 1 takes place on October 12-13, Round 2 on April 26-27, Round 3 on May 17-18, Round 4 on June 7-8.
