In 2025, the National Center for Educational Testing and Quality Assessment will continue to coordinate with universities to organize the V-SAT University Admission Exam (V-SAT exam). The results of this exam are expected to be used for admission to nearly 20 universities.
Compared to 2 years ago, the 2025 V-SAT exam has adjustments that are more suitable to the direction of assessing the abilities of high school students according to the 2018 General Education Program.
The V-SAT exam is designed to assess candidates' abilities for the purpose of university admission. In 2025, this exam will include 8 independent subjects corresponding to 7 subjects in the high school program including: Math, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, English and Literature. Candidates can choose at least 1/8 subjects depending on their admission wishes according to the major groups of the admission unit.
