It is expected that about 30 universities and academies training in engineering, science and technology majors will participate.
Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology; Hanoi University of Science and Technology (USTH); Phenikaa University; Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; Thuy Loi University; Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment; Electricity University; University of Transport Technology; Academy of Cryptography Techniques; University of Science - Thai Nguyen University... have confirmed their participation in the program.
The program is expected to attract more than 5,000 students from more than 30 high schools in Hanoi. Here, students and parents will be consulted by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and training institutions about the 2026 university entrance exam. In addition, there are activities such as inspiring talks about science and technology, STEM experiences and visiting laboratories at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
Journalist Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of Student - Hoa Hoc Tro Department (Tien Phong Newspaper), Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee - said that the difference of the program is that it only focuses on high school students in Hanoi with orientations according to science and technology majors; participating schools must also have suitable training majors.
The scale may not be too large, but both students and schools have common interests, so the connection efficiency will be higher," said Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh.
Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh - Rector of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (USTH) - highly appreciated the program organization model. According to her, although it has only been implemented since 2025, the Festival has shown effectiveness in many aspects; this year, USTH continues to accompany with a higher level.
The enrollment day for science and technology majors, held for the first time in 2025, is an activity in response to Resolution 57 of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and also to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18). In the first year, the program attracted more than 30 training institutions and more than 5,000 students and parents to participate.
