The school's students are of many types: Deaf, intangible disabled, autistic, motor disabled... But under the dedicated care of their teachers, they have gradually overcome their inferiority complex, made clear progress and confidently integrated. After more than 20 years of construction and development, Binh Minh Specialized School has achieved many outstanding achievements.
The school has achieved the title of Advanced Labor Collective for 17 consecutive years; Party Cell completing its tasks well; Red Cross, School Health, and Relief for children with disabilities have all been highly appreciated... The school has had 2 teachers achieving the title of Excellent Teacher of Education for Children with Disabilities at the National level, 1 Emulation Fighter at the city level, and dozens of city-level experience initiatives, awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
Students have not only improved their studies but also actively participated in artistic and sports movements and won many awards: Third Prize at the city level in the painting contest of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Children with Disabilities, Silver Medal in the city-level distance dancing in 2008...
Many students after studying at school have been able to integrate into high school, even continue to study at secondary school, have stable jobs and independent lives. In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the Party Cell, Trade Union, Union and mass movements all completed their tasks excellently.
Many individuals were awarded: Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, Vice Principal, President of the Trade Union, received the Medal "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union"; 9 times received the Certificate of Merit of the Hanoi People's Association for the Relief of Disabled Children; First Prize of the Writing Contest on typical advanced examples, good people and good deeds in Dong Anh commune in September 2025; Mr. Nguyen Van Dai, Principal - was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children in 2024".
From a small and disadvantaged facility, Binh Minh Specialized School has now become a trusted address for parents and students with disabilities in Dong Anh district, a place to light up determination, nurture confidence and bring opportunities to integrate with disadvantaged groups.
