Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai; members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and a number of relevant departments, agencies, and branches.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 89/QD-UBND dated January 12, 2026 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training - to hold the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An. The term of appointment is 5 years, the decision takes effect from the date of signing.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa was born on October 4, 1977, holds a PhD in Education Management, Bachelor of Mathematics Pedagogy, Advanced Political Theory, and is an Excellent Teacher. He has nearly 27 years of experience in the education sector, held many positions from teacher, Vice Principal, High School Principal; had a period of working at the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and 7 years holding the position of Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training before being appointed Director of the Department.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai congratulated the new Director of the Department of Education and Training, and at the same time proposed that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa continue to promote his experience, sense of responsibility, and work with the collective of the Nghe An Education sector to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Previously, Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026 and was approved by the Prime Minister for the election results according to regulations.
