In 2025, the University of Finance and Marketing plans to recruit students by 6 methods: Direct recruitment, priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Considering students with good academic results; considering transcripts; considering V-SAT exam scores; considering the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam; considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores.

Notably, this school requires Math in all admission combinations.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law said it plans to enroll 4,000 students, an increase of nearly 800 compared to 2024; it plans to open new majors in Banking and Finance and International Business. At the same time, it is preparing to request permission to open a major in Economic Law.

The three expected admission methods include: Direct admission, direct admission and priority admission according to the University Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Admission according to the school's admission plan and Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology said that in 2025, the school will no longer use the method of considering transcripts based on 3 semesters, but will still maintain the method of considering transcripts based on a combination of 3 subjects in grade 12.

University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) plans to reduce admission methods to 3, including:

Method 1: Direct admission and priority for direct admission (up to 20% of total enrollment quota).

Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam (about 40-60% of total enrollment target).

Method 3: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025 (about 30-50% of total target).

Similarly, the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University) also plans to use only 3 admission methods, including:

Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Ho Chi Minh City National University; combining international language certificates with academic records.

Method 2: Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Method 3: Consider the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education said that in 2025, it will stop considering high school transcripts for admission. The specialized competency assessment exam will become the school's main admission method.
