According to this enrollment plan, the National Economics University will maintain three stable enrollment methods, including: direct enrollment, enrollment based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, and combined enrollment.
The direct admission method applies to candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in national and international competitions for excellent students organized and sent by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize is no more than 3 years from the time of direct admission and graduating from high school in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to the major the candidate registered for according to the allocation quota of the National Economics University.
Candidates who win first prizes in national and international science and technology competitions organized and sent to participate by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize is no more than 3 years from the time of direct admission and graduation from high school in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to majors according to the list announced by the National Economics University.
With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025, National Economics University uses 4 groups, including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) and there is no difference in admission scores between the admission groups.
Thus, compared to last year, the university stopped 5 admission combinations including: B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English).
The combined admission method applies to all admission codes in 2025 and to the following groups of candidates:
Group 1, candidates with international SAT or ACT certificates. Conditions for receiving applications, candidates must achieve SAT scores of 1,200 or higher or ACT scores of 26 or higher within 2 years from June 1, 2025.
Note, when taking the SAT or ACT, candidates need to register the National Economics University code with the testing organization. SAT is 7793-National Economics University and ACT is 1767-National Economics University. If candidates have taken the test but have not registered the National Economics University code, they need to re-register with the testing organization.
Group 2, candidates with the HSA test score of Hanoi National University or (APT) of Ho Chi Minh City National University or with the TSA test score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology or candidates with an international English certificate (CCTAQT) combined with one of the HSA/APT/TSA test scores mentioned above.
Conditions for receiving application documents: candidates must have HSA from 85 points or higher, APT from 700 points or higher, or TSA from 60 points or higher; or candidates must have CCTAQT IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160 &W 150) or higher combined with the above HSA/APT/TSA scores;
Group 3, including candidates with international English certificates combined with high school graduation exam scores in 2025. Conditions for receiving applications, candidates with international English certificates within 2 years from June 1, 2025, achieving IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160, W 150) or higher and have high school graduation exam scores in 2025 in math and 1 subject other than English in the university admission groups.
Last year, on a scale of 30, the benchmark score for Public Relations at the National Economics University was the highest at 28.18 points, followed by E-commerce at 28.02 points. The remaining majors all had benchmark scores of 26.57 or higher. This is the total score of three graduation exam subjects according to the combination (depending on the major), including priority points (if any).
With a scale of 40 (a double subject), the highest admission threshold is 37.49 points in Marketing Communications. Many other majors with a benchmark score above 36 are Business Administration, Valuation, Hotel and Event Management... The lowest in this group is Software Engineering with 34.06 points.
