On June 7 and 8, nearly 103,000 candidates in Hanoi will take the 10th grade entrance exam for public high school in the 2025-2026 school year.
The high competitiveness of the exam requires candidates not only to have solid knowledge but also to comply with regulations and proactively respond to unexpected situations.
This is the first year the new regulations have been applied, so candidates need to pay special attention to the list of items that are allowed and prohibited from being brought into the exam room.
Accordingly, candidates are only allowed to bring: writing Butts, lines, pens, pens, exfoliation, eikes, compa, graphic drawing meters, drawing tools, handheld computers without the function of drafting documents and without memory cards.
Thus, the new point in this year's exam is that candidates are not allowed to enter the Atlat exam room for geography, Circular table and soluble table.
The list of prohibited items includes: Coal papers, pens, alcoholic beverages, weapons, explosives/fireworks, documents, communication equipment (collection, information broadcasting, recording, recording), mobile phones and any items that can contain information for fraud.
These items are not only prohibited from being brought into the exam room, but are also prohibited from being brought into the waiting room.
If they bring illegal items into the exam room, candidates will be suspended from the exam. Candidates whose exams are suspended will lose their right to participate in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
One of the mandatory and strict regulations that candidates need to pay special attention to: If there is a delay of more than 15 minutes after the test time signal, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam.
One of the principles of admission to public schools of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is that candidates must complete all 3 exams ( Math, Literature, Foreign Language), if they do not have one exam, they will not have the opportunity to participate in the admission exam.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training also noted that students need to check the exam questions in the first 5 minutes after receiving the exam questions from the exam moderator.
If the exam is found to be missing pages, printed poorly, torn, or have technical errors, the candidate must immediately report to the supervisor within 5 minutes from the time of starting the exam.
At each exam location, there are original exam questions. If promptly reported, the exam score leaders will compare them with the original exam questions for immediate processing, ensuring that the test time is not affected.
After this time, if they do not report, candidates must take responsibility if there are incidents related to the exam.
If there are situations such as lack of test-taking tools, forgetting personal documents... candidates need to stay calm, immediately report to the supervisor for guidance, absolutely do not leave the exam area to return to get things, avoid violations or being late.
Strengthening anti-fraud
At the 10th grade exam review guidance conference held on the morning of June 3, Hanoi City Police said that the professional departments of the city police will continue to detect, fight, and eliminate groups that sell technology equipment to serve exam fraud.
On the side of the Department of Education and Training, this agency noted that teachers should comply with regulations and principles on exam consideration, not be negligent, subjective, and not handle situations without permission.
Any feedback about the exam questions and unusual incidents in the exam room must be immediately reported to the test score leader, through the supervisor.
