Nguyen Khanh Linh, born in 2005, comes from a purely farming family in Vu Quang, Ha Tinh. Overcoming adversity, Linh always maintains her spirit of studiousness and determination to rise up steadfastly. Throughout high school, he always achieved good academic performance and many outstanding achievements.
Notably, in the 2022 - 2023 school year, Khanh Linh excellently won first prize in the national excellent student exam in Geography. With this achievement, Linh is the only non-professional student in Ha Tinh province to win the National First Prize.
To realize her dream of entering the public security industry, Khanh Linh registered for direct admission to the People's Public Security Political Academy. However, the school only had one quota for women in the Northern region, according to the direct admission method, so Linh was not admitted.
Knowing the information, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police at that time proposed that the Ministry of Public Security specially admit Khanh Linh directly to the People's Public Security Political Academy.
At that time, General To Lam - Minister of Public Security (now General Secretary of the Party Central Committee) agreed to add quotas and recruit Khanh Linh to study at the school.
"Thinking back to that time, I felt extremely grateful and told myself to constantly try every day. In March 2025, passing the strict selection round from height, weight to physical strength, Khanh Linh set off to perform A80 duties, participating in the female police force on duty in the parade, parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
The female soldier expressed many different emotions during the training process: happy, excited, excited and also worried and pressured. However, under the harsh summer sunlight during the 4 months of training at the sports school in Thach That (Hanoi), Khanh Linh's courage, will, and determination were trained by me every day, so that the female student of the People's Public Security could overcome all difficulties, "overcome the sun, overcome the rain", strive to excellently complete her tasks.
Recently, Khanh Linh and soldiers in the A80 parade and march had the opportunity to "go around the hands of the people" on the streets of the capital Hanoi during national training, preliminary and final rehearsals. And on the grand day of September 2, Khanh Linh is honored to walk on the historic Ba Dinh Square, completing its A80 mission.
