As Lao Dong reported, during the lunch break before class in the afternoon of January 9, a scuffle occurred between 2 female students in the classroom of grade 6, Khai Trung Primary and Secondary School, Tan Linh commune.
Due to personal conflicts from before, D.G.L, a 6th grade student, had the act of using his hands and feet to affect L.T.T.C (a classmate).
The school violence of female student L was recorded by her classmates and her family posted a video on social networks, causing public outrage.

Immediately after grasping the information, Tan Linh Commune Police worked with the School Board of Directors and the families of the students involved to clarify the incident. At the same time, coordinated with the family to take L.T.T.C to a medical facility for a health check.
For D.G.L, the commune police coordinated with the family and the school to organize work, education, and reminders in accordance with regulations.

On the morning of January 12, talking to reporters, Mr. Ly Kim Lam (C's father) said: Since being beaten by a friend, he still has headaches and dizziness. There are still many bruises on his body, currently being treated at Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1. Doctors diagnosed him with skin injuries and are preparing to be discharged.
The family will take the child to a central hospital for examination and treatment due to concerns about affecting the head when being repeatedly punched and kicked by friends in dangerous positions," Mr. Lam said.
Assessing the above incident, C's father said that the family did not agree with the conclusion from the police agency stating that C only had "some scratches on his skin".
Currently, the family is seeking advice from a lawyer. After that, they will file a petition to the functional agency requesting clarification and handling according to regulations.
