Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended the new school year opening ceremony at Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted (Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province). This is one of the main venues for the national online opening ceremony.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2026 - 2027, Mr. Hoang Hai Nam - Principal of Luong Van Tuy Specialized High School said that the school currently has 39 classes with nearly 1,400 students and a team of 120 officials, teachers, and staff. The school's facilities are increasingly being invested synchronously, meeting the requirements of innovation and improving the quality of education.
In the 2025 - 2026 school year, at the National Excellent Student Selection Contest, the school had 64 students win prizes. Among them, Nguyen Khanh Phuc - a 10th grade student specializing in Informatics - won the first prize at the national level, Silver Medal at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad and received a Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee of the 2026 International Informatics Olympiad.
At the 2026 high school graduation exam, the average score of the school's exam subjects reached nearly 8 points, ranking among the top in the province. The rate of students admitted and directly admitted to key domestic universities and studying abroad reached 100%.
In the 2026 - 2027 school year, closely following the key objectives of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo with the theme "Innovating thinking, strong changes, substantive results", the school determines to continue to improve the quality of management, teaching and innovate educational methods.
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented flowers to congratulate the school and presented 50 gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

Speaking here, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly sent congratulations to management officials, teachers, and students on the occasion of the new school year; and praised the results achieved by the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Education and Training in the 2025-2026 school year.
Entering the new school year, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh expects the Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training to continue to promote the tradition of studiousness and improve the quality of education.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented the school with 500 sets of English textbooks and an "AI pen" tool - a technology solution to support students to practice English at school and at home.
Sharing about this gift, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh emphasized the policy of making English the second language in schools, and at the same time said that the spirit of self-study and self-training plays an important role in improving students' foreign language skills.
According to the Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training, after arrangement, the whole province currently has 725 public preschool, general education and continuing education institutions, with 928,819 children and students. On the morning of September 5, together with localities across the country, 100% of public schools in Ninh Binh province successfully organized the opening ceremony of the new school year 2026 - 2027.
