The Ministry of Education and Training is drafting a Draft Decree regulating salary policies, allowances, support and attraction policies for teachers. The Decree is expected to take effect from 2026.
According to Clause 5, Article 6 of the draft, the principle of implementing the newly added allowance regime involves teachers teaching in inter-schools. Specifically, teachers teaching in inter-schools as assigned by competent authorities will receive preferential allowances applicable to the educational institution where the contract is signed.
Notably, in the case of teachers assigned to teach inter-school teaching in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions and who are responsible for 50% or more of the prescribed quota in a month, they will receive preferential allowances according to regulations specifically for disadvantaged areas.
Thus, according to the draft Decree on salary for teachers and teachers teaching in inter-schools according to the assignment, they will receive preferential allowances for the vocational facilities where the contract is signed.
