Many families now have older children who are studying stably at the school.
However, after merging administrative units, many families with children preparing to enter grade 1 next school year feel worried, not knowing if their children will be able to study at An Hung Primary School - where their siblings are studying or not.
Not being able to study at the same school as you will cause many difficulties for families in picking up, dropping off, caring for and managing their children, especially for families with parents working during office hours. At the same time, studying at schools near the place of residence also ensures safety, convenience and psychological stability for young children when entering a new learning environment" - parents expressed.
Therefore, residents wish to be considered and create conditions for children who are residents of Anland Lakeview apartment building, especially families who have children studying at An Hung Primary School, to continue to register their children to study in grade 1 at the school.
Regarding people's petitions, the Culture - Society Department, Dai Mo Ward People's Committee said that based on Official Dispatch No. 1023/UBND-KGVX dated March 12, 2026 of the City People's Committee on enrollment into kindergartens, grades 1, 6, and 10 high schools for the 2026-2027 school year; based on Official Dispatch No. 1161/SGDĐT-QLT dated March 25, 2026 of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training on guiding enrollment into kindergartens, grades 1 and 6 for the 2026-2027 school year.
Priority subject 1: Including students of enrollment age residing in the area with the closest distance to school.
Priority subject 2: Including students of enrollment age residing in adjacent areas with a distance to school in other areas shorter than the distance to school in the residential area.
Therefore, the family can rest assured about enrolling their children in the class" - the Department of Culture and Society, Dai Mo Ward People's Committee emphasized.
Previously, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training had a document sent to the People's Committees of communes and wards; educational institutions in the city on supporting and guiding parents to implement the review of enrollment data at the beginning of the school year according to the digital map, school year 2026-2027.
To prepare well the conditions for the organization of enrollment in kindergartens, 1st grade, 6th grade and 10th grade high schools in the 2026-2027 school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct and request educational institutions in the area to continue reviewing data; update the address of educational institutions to ensure accuracy in coordinates (dike, latitude) to serve online enrollment using GIS maps.
Along with that, synchronize end-of-grade data fully and accurately into the enrollment system; coordinate with commune and ward police in issuing ID cards and electronic identification cards level 2 for 9th grade students to ensure timeliness.
Units assign personnel to be in charge of receiving, summarizing and promptly handling difficulties, obstacles, and recommendations from parents and educational institutions arising during the data review and update process; strengthen inspection and supervision of implementation at educational institutions so that the work of reviewing and updating information is carried out in accordance with regulations.
Localities propagate and guide all officials, teachers, staff, students, and parents about online enrollment with AI artificial intelligence application, GIS digital maps; disseminate and guide parents to confirm information on the first-level enrollment system to serve online enrollment work.
