Khanh Hoa - A locality that has just consolidated leadership for the next term, in which Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung was approved to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On April 9, Khanh Hoa province organized a conference to announce decisions on personnel work to consolidate leadership for the 2026 - 2031 term.

At the conference, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced the Prime Minister's decision on approving the results of the election of the position of Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031 for Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the same time, the conference announced the decision of the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on appointing Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, at the first session of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, term VIII, 2026 - 2031 held on March 30, 100% of the delegates present elected Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - then Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also at the conference, the Prime Minister's decision approving the election results of Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031 for Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Le Huyen, Trinh Minh Hoang, Tran Hoa Nam, Nguyen Thanh Ha was announced.

The conference also announced the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on approving the results of the election of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, term VIII.

Accordingly, Mr. Lam Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province term VII - was approved to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province term VIII, term 2026 - 2031.

Mr. Lu Thanh Hai and Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang were approved to hold the positions of Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, term VIII, term 2026 - 2031.
