Accordingly, 3 admission methods to the People's Police University in 2026 are as follows:
Method 1: Direct admission according to the current enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
Method 2: Admission consideration combines international foreign language certificates with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.
Method 3: Admission consideration combines high school graduation exam results with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam.

The candidates are in-service police officers, citizens who have completed their service in the People's Police with a demobilization decision within 12 months from the month of application, students of the School of Culture (T11), and permanent residents in the locality where the preliminary selection is registered.
Regarding admission conditions, in addition to ensuring the conditions according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates must meet the following conditions:
Meeting political standards and moral qualities according to current regulations of the Ministry of Public Security;
Soldiers of the Police Force with a working period of 15 months or more up to the recruitment month; classifying cadres who achieve the "Completion of tasks" level or higher in the year immediately preceding the year of application;
Citizens who complete their obligation to participate in the People's Public Security Forces during their service, annually reach the level of "Completion of tasks" or higher, including at least 01 (one) year reaching the level of "Good completion of tasks";
Citizens who have completed their obligations to participate in the People's Public Security Forces, permanent residents in the locality where the preliminary selection is registered, T11 students in their high school years or equivalents who achieve good or higher academic performance according to academic transcript conclusions;
Soldiers of the Police Force and citizens who are subject to priority policies 01 Group UT1 in Appendix II of Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDĐT dated February 15, 2026 of the Minister of Education and Training, in high school years or equivalent with academic results from "Achieved" or higher (according to academic transcript conclusions);
Citizens who have completed their obligations to participate in the People's Public Security Forces, permanent residents in the locality where the preliminary selection is registered, and T11 students in their high school years or equivalent with academic results from "Good" or higher (according to academic transcript conclusions);
Citizens who have completed their obligations to participate in the People's Public Security Forces, T11 students and subjects who are ethnic minorities, each subject belonging to the admission combination to the People's Police School in their high school years or equivalent, achieving 6.5 points or higher;
Citizens permanently residing in the locality where they register for preliminary selection for each subject belonging to the admission combination to the People's Police School in their high school years or equivalent, achieving 7.0 points or higher;
T11 students and permanent residents in the locality where they registered for preliminary selection in their high school years or equivalent have achieved good or higher conduct (according to academic transcript conclusions), are not married, do not have biological children or adopted children as prescribed by law;
As of the year of application, T11 students and permanent residents in the locality where the preliminary selection is registered are not over 22 years old, and for ethnic minorities, they are not over 25 years old;
Sufficient health to enroll new recruits into the People's Public Security Forces according to the provisions of Circular No. 62/2023/TT-BCA dated November 14, 2023 of the Minister of Public Security stipulating specific health standards and health checks for the People's Public Security Forces (amended and supplemented in 2025).
Admission conditions for candidates registering for admission by method
In addition to ensuring general admission conditions, candidates registering for each method must meet the following conditions:
For candidates applying for Form 1, candidates who win prizes according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the time of winning prizes is no more than 3 (three) years up to the time of direct admission consideration;
Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in the national excellent student selection exam at the high school level in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, History, and English are considered for direct admission to the People's Police University according to the wishes of the candidates;
Graduated from high school by the time of enrollment confirmation.
For candidates applying according to Method 2, candidates need to have an international foreign language certificate for no more than 2 years from the date of issuance of the certificate to May 1, 2026, a certificate issued by an organization authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training for one of the following certificates:

For candidates intending to take the international foreign language certificate exam during the preliminary selection period, they are still allowed to register for the exam, but the official certificate exam date must be before May 20, 2026. Complete and submit the foreign language certificate at the People's Police University before May 30, 2026;
Grading academic performance in grades 10, 11, 12 reaching good or higher. In which, the average score of foreign languages in high school years reaches 7.0 points or higher;
For candidates currently studying in grade 12 who are still allowed to register for preliminary selection, after having the grade 12 year-end summary score, based on regulations to determine whether the candidate meets the conditions or not;
Graduated from high school by the time of enrollment confirmation.
With method 3, high school students whose foreign language is another language besides English (register for majors using English for admission) or Chinese (register for majors using Chinese for admission) if they wish to apply, can use the score of that foreign language subject for preliminary selection.
For candidates currently studying in grade 12 who are still allowed to register for preliminary selection, after having the grade 12 year-end summary score, based on regulations to determine whether the candidate meets the conditions or not.
Graduated from high school by the time of enrollment confirmation.
