Score conversion process and application submission to the National Economics University

On May 25, the National Economics University organized the 2025 Admissions and Career Orientation Consulting Festival. The program provides parents and students with important information about enrollment plans and scoring conversion processes.

Accordingly, the National Economics University will open a portal to receive applications for combined admission, direct admission from 8:00 a.m. on June 1 to 5:00 p.m. on June 30.

All candidates eligible for university admission must simultaneously register on the school system and the Ministry of Education and Training system from July 16 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

After having the results of the high school graduation exam, the National Economics University will build a score conversion table and announce it before 5:00 p.m. on July 23. The time to announce the admission results and confirm admission will be according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The process of determining the rule of converting points is implemented in 6 steps. After completing the admission procedure, the school will analyze the scores of the exams and complete before July 18.

At the same time, the National Economics University said that it will also build an equivalent conversion table and conduct a trial before July 21, expected to submit to the admission council and update on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training the official conversion table before July 23.

Dr. Le Duc Anh - Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University - shared: "The National Economics University has basically developed a rule for converting points and is waiting for data from the Ministry of Education and Training to calculate the conversion table. The conversion of scores will have to ensure similarity with the abilities of candidates who have been admitted in previous years.

In response to parents and candidates' concerns about the admission method combining IELTS certificates and high school graduation exam scores, Dr. Le Duc Anh said that the school will soon guide the conversion level with certificates and be counted as equivalent conversion scores when applying.

In addition to information about this year's admission process, the National Economics University also provides software for students and parents to look up and refer to the admission results of the last 3 years. When students enter the existing certificate scores, the system will give ranking results, the majors they passed according to the standard scores of previous years.
