The Thuan An Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project was started in November 2025 in Dak Thuy village, with an area of about 5ha, a total investment of 226 billion VND, and a training scale of more than 1,000 students.
According to the design, the school has 36 classrooms, including 21 primary and 15 secondary schools, expected to be completed before August 30, 2026 to be put into use in the 2026 - 2027 school year.
According to Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 3 (the investor), so far the project has reached about 50% of the construction volume, and the rough construction is expected to be completed on May 15.
The construction unit has mobilized about 200 workers and many machines to speed up the progress.
However, the implementation process still faces some difficulties such as complex geology, high prices of fuel and building materials.
To ensure progress, the investor has requested the contractor to increase manpower, equipment, organize overtime construction, work even at night, and take advantage of favorable weather conditions to complete the items.
Through inspection on the afternoon of April 29, Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam emphasized that this is a project of great significance in ensuring social security, contributing to building a strong border area.
Therefore, relevant units need to closely coordinate, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and be determined to bring the project to completion as soon as possible.
The Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee also assigned the Department of Education and Training to proactively work with the Ministry of Education and Training to soon have guidance on enrollment and teacher staff arrangement.
At the same time, the investor needs to urgently deploy procurement and installation of equipment immediately after the construction items are completed.
Besides the requirements for progress, provincial leaders emphasized that construction must ensure quality and safety; develop detailed plans weekly and monthly, in order to complete the project according to the set goals.
In the afternoon of April 29, Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation inspected the actual project to build a multi-level school in the border area in Thuan An commune.
The delegation included Mr. Luu Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of relevant departments and agencies.
