Dong Nai has more mechanisms and policies to support businesses
The National Assembly has just passed a Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai city and officially took effect from April 30, 2026.
Talking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Dang Van Diem - Chairman of Dong Nai Business Federation - said that the business community in the area expects Dong Nai city to have more favorable mechanisms and policies, invest strong resources to develop the team of local entrepreneurs and businesses.

Dong Nai City will continue to strongly improve the investment and business environment, transport infrastructure... creating favorable conditions for business development. Effectively implement credit support policies, connect banks - businesses and other financial resources. Expand programs to connect trade, industry and services, and strongly spread investment capital flows, human resources and technology, urban economic development...
Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thuan - Deputy Director of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat commune) - also said that Dong Nai city will be a major boost in infrastructure, attracting investment and improving the competitiveness of the region.
We also determine that we will not stand aside, but proactively invest, innovate and accompany the locality in this development process, from improving production capacity to participating in value chains with higher technology content and added value," Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thuan shared.
Business representatives also expect Dong Nai city to continue to strongly reform administrative procedures, transparent planning and have a more favorable business ecosystem. At that time, businesses will not only expand their operations but also have more opportunities to participate deeper in new value chains, especially in the fields of industry, logistics and high-quality services.
However, Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thuan also hopes that development will go hand in hand with sustainability - balancing economic growth, environment and quality of life for people. This will be a "key" factor for Dong Nai to truly become a long-term attractive destination for the business community.
Synchronous investment in logistics infrastructure and regional connectivity
Also according to Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thuan, for a garment manufacturing enterprise, businesses want logistics infrastructure and regional connectivity, especially roads, ports and logistics centers to be invested synchronously to shorten delivery time and reduce transportation costs, because this is a "life-or-death" factor in the garment export industry.

In addition, business representatives expect Dong Nai to develop human resources, have more vocational training programs, housing for workers and accompanying social infrastructure so that workers can stick with it for a long time. For labor-intensive industries such as garment, this is a key factor for sustainable development.
Business representatives also hope that development planning will be implemented consistently and in the long term, helping businesses feel secure in investing, expanding production and improving competitiveness in the international market.
We believe that if these factors are implemented synchronously, Dong Nai city will not only be a major industrial center, but also an attractive destination for global textile and garment supply chains," Mr. Thuan shared.
