Ms. Chuc Thi Huyen, Dao ethnicity, in Thuong Nong commune, is currently a 4th year student at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. Nearly 5 years ago, Huyen was one of many new students in difficult circumstances who received the "Tan Trao to School Support" scholarship awarded by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Association for Promoting Education.
The day I received the admission notice, I was both happy and worried. Happy to be admitted to university, but also worried because my family's economic conditions were still difficult. The scholarship at that time was truly a meaningful gift, helping me have more motivation and confidence to enter the university lecture hall," Huyen shared.
Like Huyen, Huong Thi Xiem, Mong ethnicity, from Lung Tam commune, currently studying at Hung Vuong University, was supported with a scholarship by Ha Giang Mechanical and Mineral Joint Stock Company for 4 years of study with a total budget of 120 million VND.
Siêm confided: "At the most difficult time, I received a scholarship from Ha Giang Mechanical and Mineral Joint Stock Company. If it weren't for this support, perhaps I would hardly have the opportunity to continue studying at university. I will strive to study and rise up to be worthy of that help.
The "Tan Trao supporting schools" scholarship program, continuously implemented by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Association for Promoting Education for the past 20 years, has supported 1,000 poor students with a total budget of over 2 billion VND.
In the period 2020 - 2026 alone, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to 250 new students with a total amount of 600 million VND; and awarded more than 2,000 scholarships to students overcoming difficulties, worth over 2 billion VND.

Support from the Provincial Education Promotion Fund has contributed to encouraging and empowering students in difficult circumstances to rise up in their studies, continue their journey to conquer knowledge and aim for a better future.
In addition, many agencies, units, and businesses inside and outside the province also actively accompany the work of encouraging education and talent through scholarship awarding and gift-giving activities for students in difficult circumstances.
Every year, Viettel Tuyen Quang Branch awards "For Students" scholarships to 630 primary and secondary school students in difficult circumstances who strive in their studies, with a total budget of 1.3 billion VND.
BIDV Tuyen Quang Bank and Ha Giang Mechanical and Mineral Joint Stock Company awarded 27 scholarships to 27 new students with particularly difficult circumstances who were admitted to university in 2025, with a total value of over 2.5 billion VND.
Ms. Vu Thi Bich Viet - Chairwoman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Association for Promoting Education said that mobilizing the joint efforts of the whole society for education promotion, talent promotion and building a learning society has profound humanistic meaning.
The Provincial Association for Promoting Education will continue to maintain scholarship awarding, supporting, and assisting students in difficult circumstances to go to school. Thereby, spreading the movement to promote education and talent and mobilizing more and more social resources to participate," Ms. Vu Thi Bich Viet said.
