In the last days of August, amidst the overlapping green color of Muong Khuong mountains and forests, another green color is also present in the new school grounds - the green color of soldier uniforms, police uniforms and youth union uniforms.
From early morning, more than 120 officers and soldiers, along with youth union members and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, were present at Muong Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School, transporting tables and chairs, placing beds, cleaning classrooms, and renovating the campus.
On the sprint to catch up with the new school year, the green of Muong Khuong mountains and forests seems to blend with the green of those who are contributing to building highland schools.
Not only is it human resource support, but it is also a beautiful image of the spirit of responsibility, the joint efforts of forces for students in border areas.

Tables, chairs, cabinets for documents, teaching equipment and semi-boarding supplies are transported and arranged neatly. In common areas, functional forces collect construction waste, sweep schoolyards, corridors, clean windows, and prune green trees.
These are tasks implemented to ensure that the school can be ready to welcome students and put into stable operation before the opening ceremony of the 2026-2027 school year.
Muong Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School is invested with a total budget of 255 billion VND, a scale of 28 classes, meeting nearly 1,000 students.

The project is built synchronously with a system of classrooms, functional rooms, dormitories, dining rooms and items serving learning and living.
The operation of the school is expected to create better learning and living conditions for highland students, especially students in border areas.
In these days, the dormitory area is also particularly focused on. Soldiers and youth union members clean rooms, prepare beds, blankets, mosquito nets and necessary items so that students can use them immediately upon enrollment.
It is known that Muong Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School was selected by the Ministry of Education and Training as the central bridge point of the whole country in the opening ceremony of the 2026-2027 school year on September 5th.
Therefore, the requirements for facilities, landscapes, equipment and technical infrastructure serving the opening ceremony are of particular concern to the locality.

Mr. Dao Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of Lao Cai Department of Education and Training - said that the province is focusing on preparing conditions on facilities, techniques and online connections for Muong Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School to organize the inauguration ceremony, opening ceremony and connect with localities and educational institutions across the country.
According to Mr. Tuan, Lao Cai strives to organize a solemn, safe, and practical opening ceremony, creating a joyful atmosphere for students, teachers and people.
The province also coordinates with ministries and sectors to ensure a synchronous and smooth online connection system with the general opening program nationwide.
