On May 8, the People's Committee of Mo Cay commune issued an official dispatch on temporarily suspending and restricting the operation of household karaoke and singing establishments in the area to create favorable conditions for students to focus on reviewing and preparing for the second semester exam and the high school graduation exam in the 2025 - 2026 school year.
According to the content of the official dispatch, the Commune People's Committee requests agencies, units, hamlet heads, singing service business establishments, household karaoke and people to raise awareness and limit the use of large sound emitters during students' study periods and exams.
For primary and secondary school students taking the second semester exam, the limited time is from May 11 to the end of May 22. For high school students reviewing and taking the graduation exam, the implementation time is from June 1 to the end of June 13.
The Commune People's Committee also requested karaoke and singing establishments to proactively reduce volume, operate on schedule; households organizing weddings and parties use appropriate sound, avoiding affecting people's study and rest.
According to the People's Committee of Mo Cay commune, the implementation aims to promote the consensus of the community, create a quiet environment for students to study with peace of mind and achieve good results in the upcoming exams.
