On April 29, Mr. Nguyen Quang Nhat - Deputy Head of the Sub-Department of Food Safety of Lam Dong province said that the inter-sectoral inspection team had just conducted a surprise inspection of food and beverage establishments in Phu Thuy ward.

Working with the inspection team, the facility owner presented a certificate of food safety knowledge of himself and 3 workers.
At Mr. V.T's banh uot cha lua selling facility, the inspection team recorded that about 800 portions were consumed each day, with raw materials using about 150 kg of banh uot and 15 kg of cha lua.
Even though the person directly processing wears gloves and masks, the establishment still violates many regulations such as: not having a business registration certificate; not being granted a certificate of eligibility for food safety; not storing food samples.
The inspection team requested the facility to temporarily suspend operations and at the same time complete legal procedures according to regulations before being allowed to resume operations.
This is an activity in the "Mess of Action for Food Safety" in 2026, aimed at strengthening inspection and supervision, promptly detecting and strictly handling violations, especially at food service establishments, collective kitchens and street food.
According to the Provincial Department of Health, from April 15 to May 15, 2026, two inter-sectoral inspection teams will be established to conduct widespread inspections and rectify food safety management in the area.
