On July 21, the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 3 of Lam Dong province said that the Quang Truc Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project has completed about 64% of the volume.
According to the plan, the project will complete construction, equipment installation and acceptance before August 30 to put into use in the new school year.
To speed up progress, the investor strengthened on-site inspections, requested contractors to supplement manpower and equipment, and organized overtime and shift work. At the same time, the Provincial Military Command coordinated to support 138 militiamen to participate in construction.
However, the demand for manpower to serve construction is still short of more than 200 workers compared to the committed plan, affecting the progress of some items.
Faced with this reality, Lam Dong province has requested Military Region 7 to continue to support more forces to ensure progress.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh wished Military Region 7 to mobilize more forces to complete all construction blocks before August 15, creating conditions to complete and install equipment and put the school into operation before the new school year.
Colonel Nguyen Hai Nam - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7 requested units to urgently deploy forces to participate in supporting school construction, ensuring reasonable troop numbers to participate in support with the highest political determination.
Completing the project on schedule will help students in border areas have spacious facilities, ensuring learning conditions right from the beginning of the new school year.
The Quang Truc Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project was approved by the People's Committee of Lam Dong province at the end of October 2025 with a total investment of 240 billion VND. The project includes 25 items, including 9 main items and started on November 9, 2025.
