At the Nguyen Van Linh General Secretary Memorial House, in front of the spirit of the late General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, delegates of the VGCL expressed their sincere respect and deep gratitude to comrade Nguyen Van Linh, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, a resilient and indomitable communist, a steadfast and creative leader, an outstanding son of Hung Yen homeland.
During his time as Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (now the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour), Comrade Nguyen Van Linh made great contributions to building a strong and mature trade union organization and Vietnamese working class.
On behalf of the leaders of the VGCL, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Hung said that generations of officials and trade union members are determined to engrave the words of the late General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, continue to promote revolutionary traditions and socio-economic achievements after years of renovation, and strive to implement the task of building a strong working class and trade union organization.
