Reduce pressure, add options
In 2026, Can Tho University will organize 7 V-SAT exams, 1 more than in 2025. Notably, 2 of them will take place after the 2026 High School Graduation Exam. This is considered by many candidates to be a valuable opportunity, helping them reduce pressure and have more options to enter their dream school.

When the exam schedule was announced, Tran Thi Cam Tu (grade 12 student, Phu Tan commune, An Giang) carefully calculated the review roadmap to both ensure her scores in class and master specialized competency assessment exams such as V-SAT.
Sharing about her schedule, Cam Tu said: I am focusing on reviewing 3 strengths: Math, Physics and English. Because V-SAT focuses on high school knowledge but requires quick thinking ability, he has to allocate time to solve the test each night. I plan to register for 3 rounds. In particular, after the High School Graduation Exam, I will focus on breaking my scores.

Also having high expectations, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thao (O Mon ward, Can Tho city) said that having an additional V-SAT exam after the High School Graduation Exam is a great opportunity. "This year, there are 2 exams after graduation, I feel like I have been given an additional "golden ticket". At that time, I feel more comfortable, no longer worried about overlapping schedules or knowledge, I believe I will do my homework better, Ngoc Thao shared.
Ready to meet nearly 76,000 candidates
Talking to Lao Dong, Master Nguyen Hua Duy Khang - Deputy Head of Training Department (Can Tho University) - informed that in 2025, the school will organize 6 V-SAT exams, with the number of candidates participating accounting for 57% of the country. On that basis, Can Tho University forecasts that the number of candidates in 2026 will continue to increase.

Currently, the school has re-tested the computer system, prepared facilities, network infrastructure and other equipment to increase service capacity, enough to meet the maximum of nearly 76,000 candidates taking the exam in 2026. The new and special point of this year's V-SAT exam is that there are 2 rounds taking place after the High School Graduation Exam.
Through experience from 2025, the final V-SAT exam taking place after the High School Graduation Exam has a sharp increase in the number of candidates, the highest among the 6 rounds. This year, we will organize 2 rounds, in order to create the best conditions for students to take the exam without pressure after completing the High School Graduation Exam, said Mr. Khang.
According to Mr. Khang, the results of the 2025 V-SAT exam data analysis have confirmed the reliability and measurable value of the V-SAT exam. At the same time, it is necessary to prove objectivity in the organization and marking process. On that basis, Can Tho University and the schools organizing the exam will coordinate with the National Center for Testing and Educational Quality Assessment to continue perfecting the problem matrix, expanding the sample size and enhancing analysis according to the IRT model to improve the reliability of assessment results.
Universities in the Mekong Delta using the results of the V-SAT Exam organized by Can Tho University include: Can Tho University, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dong Thap University, Tien Giang University, Tra Vinh University, Bac Lieu University, Kien Giang University, University of Economics Branch in Vinh Long, Nam Can Tho University, Tay Do University.
