On the morning of October 6, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Head of the Student Affairs Department (under the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province) said that due to the impact of storm No. 10, from September 29, many schools in the province have allowed students to stay home to ensure safety.

After storm No. 10 passed, from September 30, schools have welcomed students back to school. However, there are still some flooded schools, so students continue to be absent from school.

The Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province requires heads of educational institutions and schools to strengthen leadership, direction, and closely monitor the developments of storm No. 11. At the same time, proactively deploy plans to prevent and combat storms, rain, floods, inundation, inundation and storm circulation at the unit.

"By this morning (October 6), 100% of schools had welcomed students back to school. The provincial Department of Education and Training also directed heads of schools to proactively decide to let students stay home from school when there are storms, heavy rain, floods, inundation, landslides, and inundation in the locality and decide to let students return to school when safety is ensured" - Mr. Thang said.
