Expressing his passion for Math since he was in first grade and participated in many international Math competitions, Ngo Gia Huy came to the AIMO Asian Math arena with great excitement despite the competition's many challenges.
This year, Gia Huy is the youngest member of the Vietnam national team participating in the AIMO 2025 Asian Math Auction Final held in Japan.

In this competition, Gia Huy won a Silver Medal and it was also his latest achievement. Last year, when attending the AIMO 2024 International Final held in Korea, Gia Huy also brought home a Silver Medal and was awarded the Star of International - Vietnam Cup.
Sharing with reporters, Gia Huy was quite surprised by the AIMO 2025 exam, assessing the difficulty of the exam to be restructured with 3 levels of gradual increase. The AIMO 2025 International exam consists of 30 questions in English, candidates must complete in 120 minutes. In which, Combinatorics (collision) was the competition that Gia Huy felt the most difficult.

He confided that when he learned that he was on the list to participate in the 2025 AIMO International Final round in Japan, he proactively spent 2-3 hours a day reviewing some difficult questions, with the guidance of Mr. Dang Minh Tuan - Coach of the AIMO Vietnam team to find a way to solve difficult problems.
In the Vietnam national team competing in this year's AIMO international competition, Gia Huy shared: "I am most impressed with Mr. Phan Thanh Huy (Chamampion of the competition) with a high achievement list. I know that Mr. Huy is very good at chess. He also loves playing chess and installing Lego. I hope to exchange and learn about Math and chess with Mr. Huy in the near future".
Mr. Ngo Duy Thi - Gia Huy's parent said: "Although I love Math, my family never puts pressure on me to achieve results. In addition to school hours and Volunteer Day, the family always takes time for their children to play sports, develop personal skills and especially to always let them live to their right age, cheerful and innocent.

After AIMO 2025, Gia Huy plans to continue participating in international math competitions to practice himself. My dream is to conquer and win a Gold Medal at the AIMO International Finals in the following years, the 9-year-old boy confided.
