The online preliminary round was held on June 22 through the aiducation platform, a "Make in Vietnam" technology product developed by Vietnamese engineers. More than 1,880 students out of a total of 2,500 registered candidates have completed valid exams, starting this year's exam season.

aiducation not only supports judging with AI Adaptive Learning Engine and Athena learning assistant, but also provides a Voice AI tool that helps parents interact directly to grasp information. Anti-fraud technology, online test supervision and detailed analysis in the form of cards are also applied to create a fair and transparent exam.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, journalist Le Xuan Son, former Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tien Phong Joint Stock Company, and Co-Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized that AIMO 2025 is the first time the organizing committee has applied artificial intelligence (AI) to the organization, reception and judging of the contest more quickly and accurately.

"From applying the latest science and technology to life, I hope that students will absorb that spirit, update, study, and strive to renew themselves" - he emphasized.
After announcing the exam regulations, more than 600 candidates officially entered the competition in the Olympic format, doing papers on paper for 120 minutes with an English exam structure of 3 parts (A, B, C), requiring the ability to think logically, criticize, analyze and solve problems.

Right after the morning competition, the judging council worked urgently and seriously.
