Accordingly, in the 2025-2026 school year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to apply the method of calculating tuition fees based on credits. The tuition fee is determined based on the number of credits that students register to study, according to the formula:
Tuition fee = Number of credits converted × Unit fee/credit.
Tuition fees by industry group are as follows:
Group 1 (Religiology, philosophy, Geography, History, Russian Language, Spain, Italy...): 459,000 VND/credit, equivalent to about 16.65 million VND/year.
Group 2 (Sociology, Language, Culture, Office Administration, Social Work...): 663,000 VND/credit, about 24.26 million VND/year.
Group 3 (psychology, Journalism, International Relations, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Linguages...): 756,000 VND/credit, about 29.84 million VND/year.
Vietnamese studies (foreign subjects): 2,360,000 VND/credit, about 72 million VND/year.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities said that tuition fees can be adjusted annually but do not exceed 15% compared to the previous year.
The school said that the adjustment of tuition fees aims to improve the quality of teaching and training programs; invest in facilities and equipment; increase operating and management costs; develop student support services; meet the requirements of financial autonomy orientation. At the same time, to maintain training quality, schools need to adjust tuition fees in accordance with the annual inflation rate.
Previously, schools such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Open University... also announced the expected tuition fee for the 2025 enrollment course.
