The official dispatch sent to the Department of Finance stated that the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province received an official dispatch dated April 1, 2025 from the University of Natural Resources and Environment (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) on continuing to propose extending the policy to support compensation and site clearance costs to implement the project "Investment in construction to strengthen facilities of Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment in Bac Ninh province - phase 1";
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Finance according to the functions and tasks to preside over and coordinate with the relevant units to study and advise the written response of the Provincial People's Committee on the above proposed contents; Summarizing and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before 7.4.2025.
According to the reporter's investigation, the University of Natural Resources and Environment previously established a project to build a second facility in Vinh Kieu Urban Service Area, Dong Nguyen Ward, Tu Son City (Bac Ninh Province).
The scale of the school is over 13 hectares wide, and will train 10,000 students and 600 lecturers. The total investment of the project is over 800 billion VND. The University of Natural Resources and Environment has approved an investment policy.
In the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh will form university urban areas to attract higher education institutions from Hanoi Capital to move to or build branches in the province.
Currently, the Hanoi Law University campus 2 project is under construction with an area of nearly 28 hectares in Tu Son City (Bac Ninh province), with a total investment of more than 1,700 billion VND.
The project to build a facility in Bac Ninh of the following schools: University of Medicine, University of Pharmacy, Foreign Trade University is also in the process of implementation.
