As Lao Dong reported, on April 6, at the regular Government meeting in March 2025 and the Online Conference of the Government with localities, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra announced the people's satisfaction index with the services of state administrative agencies in 2024 (SIPAS 2024).
In order to determine SIPAS 2024, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that the Ministry of Home Affairs has chaired and coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Vietnam Veterans Association and Vietnam Post Corporation to conduct a survey of 36,525 people in 195 district administrative units, 385 communal administrative units and 1,170 villages and villages.
Some notable information from the results of measuring people's satisfaction in 2024 released by the Ministry of Home Affairs is that surveyed people nationwide are interested in policies at a fairly high level, ranging from 77.88% - 82.60% (an increase of nearly 2% compared to 2023).
Social order and safety policies are the most concerned policies and economic development policies are the least concerned policies.
Compared to 2023, the household electricity policy is also one of the two most interested policies and the economic development policy is also the policy of least interest.
The level of people's willingness to participate in giving policy opinions is not high. The form of sending comments to homes and agencies received the highest support, but only 39.14% of surveyed people were willing to participate in giving opinions through this form.
Only 9.53% of surveyed people are willing to contribute opinions on the policy online.
Looking at the service quality of civil servants, 90.06% said that no civil servant caused trouble or harassment; 8.98% said that there were some civil servants causing trouble and harassment and 0.96% said that there were many civil servants causing trouble and harassment.
Regarding the needs and expectations of the people, in 2024, there are 3 contents that people are most looking forward to:
First, improve the capacity of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in solving work for people, with 66.56% of survey participants selecting.
Second, improve the spirit and service attitude of cadres, civil servants and public employees towards the people, with 63.1% of the number of people selected.
Third, improve publicity and transparency in providing information to people, with 59.42% of the number of people choosing.
The needs and expectations of people for the services of local state administrative agencies are large, with the difference in the rate of people having the same choice between provinces and cities ranging from 25.98% - 45.33%.
According to the published information, the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees is gradually changing their awareness, thinking, and acting in the direction of concern, for the benefit, for satisfaction and meeting the needs and expectations of the people.
